We kicked started the Summer term with Art week.
The children created lots of individual pieces of art, using their own ideas and choices of colours and tools.
There was plenty of opportunity for sensory learning and for the children to explore different textures of materials.
We think you will agree, they have created some wonderful pieces ☺️
We have started to get lots of enquiries for places for September 2026 at Happylands. We do have places available a September start for children aged 18 months - 5 years old. We’d like to thank all the families who participated I the sponsored read during world book day week. We raised a total of £190! This has allowed us to buy new books for both rooms and improve the reading areas, to create more welcoming and calming spaces. We have bought new cushions, lights, blankets and some natural sensory objects, for those children who just want to wind down when listening to a story.
The children have loved cosying up with one of their favourite books ☺️❤️ ... See MoreSee Less
Here is a snap shot of some of the stories we covered during book week 😊 it was an amazing week of fun and learning. Please keep an eye out on your child’s tapestry account for individual observations.
We would like to say a huge thank you to the families that participated in our sponsored read. We know some families are wanting to contribute, but our running total so far is £94.00 raised! This is wonderful and will allow us not only to buy new books for both rooms, but it means we can revamp the reading area in the butterfly room. We will keep you updated on this as we do it 😊 ...
