Our nursery is an intentionally small setting, allowing us to provide a high‑quality, personalised experience for every child. As a result, places are limited and we strongly encourage early enquiries.

Registration Process
Following your enquiry and visit, families who wish to secure a place will be asked to complete our Registration Form and Parent Contract.
This form is an important document that helps us to:
Gather essential information about your child
Understand medical, dietary, and developmental needs
Record emergency contact details
Ensure safe collection arrangements
Agree terms of attendance, fees, and nursery policies
The process includes:
- Check availability and arrange a visit
- Complete the Registration Form in full
- Provide all relevant details regarding your child’s needs, routines, and preferences
- Sign the Parent Contract, confirming agreement to nursery policies and procedures
- Secure your child’s place (any applicable fees or arrangements will be confirmed)
- The completed form is signed by both the parent/carer and the nursery, forming a clear agreement between both parties.

Our registration process ensures we can provide safe and high‑quality care. You will be asked to provide:
- Child’s personal details and medical history
- Emergency contact information
- Details of individuals authorised to collect your child (including a secure password system)
- Information about your child’s development, interests, and needs
- Details of any professionals involved (e.g. health or SEND support)
- Consent for key aspects of care (e.g. medical treatment, photographs, outings)
- All information is handled confidentially and in line with data protection requirements.

Settling In
We understand that starting nursery is a significant step for both children and families. To support a positive transition, we offer a structured settling‑in process which includes:
Two initial settling sessions before starting
Opportunities for your child to become familiar with staff and routines
Gradual introduction to longer sessions where needed
Our practitioners work closely with families to ensure children feel safe, secure, and confident in their new environment.
Funding & Fees
Happylands offers both funded and privately paid places, subject to availability.
We support access to:
- Government funded early education entitlements
- Flexible sessions where possible

- Fees apply during absences (with some exceptions)
- Payments are made in advance
- A small daily charge may apply to cover snacks
