The Butterfies Room is designed for our older children, offering a stimulating and inspiring environment that supports school readiness and deeper learning through play. This room encourages children to become more independent learners while continuing to develop their confidence, communication, and social skills.
Children access a rich variety of age‑appropriate resources and activities linked to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), including creative play, early literacy and numeracy experiences, problem‑solving, and role play. Activities are carefully planned to build on children’s interests and next steps, supporting their individual learning journeys. This includes preparing them for the transition to school.
Our skilled practitioners guide and extend learning through meaningful interactions, helping children develop resilience, independence, and a love of learning as they prepare for the next stage of their education.
